Il Divo New A Musical Affair Album

Il Divo are releasing their sixth studio album A Musical Affair on Monday 2nd December. It includes guest performances from Barbra Streisand, Nicole Scherzinger, Kristin Chenoweth, Heather Headley and Michael Ball.

They are also performing a limited run of Broadway performances at the Marquis Theatre with special guest star Heather Headley (The Bodyguard) starting on 7th November. Listen to Can You Feel The Love Tonight (featuring Heather Headley).

A Musical Affair is Il Divo’s first compilation of songs inspired by Broadway shows including The Phantom of the Opera, Carousel and West Side Story featuring classics Some Enchanted Evening (South Pacific), Bring Him Home (Les Miserables) and Tonight, (West Side Story).

John Lloyd Young to Play Frankie Valli in Jersey Boys Film

Clint Eastwood has finally chosen his Frankie Valli for the film of The Jersey boys which he is directing with Broadway’s John Lloyd Young confirmed today.

Joining Young in the cast are Erich Bergen as Bob Gaudio, Christopher Walken as Gyp DeCarlo, Mike Doyle as Bob Crew, Joey Russo Joe Pesci, Erica Piccininni as Lorraine, Donnie Kehr as Norm Waxman, Jeremy Luke as Donnie, Johnny Cannizzaro as Nick DeVito and Kathrine Narducci as Mary Rinaldi.

Eastwood has kept true to his word of casting the main roles with stage actors from the show’s Broadway, touring and international productions.

John Lloyd Young originated the role of Frankie Valli in Broadway’s Jersey Boys which won a Tony Award for Best  Musica. He recently returned to the role for several months until July 2013.
